Mrs. Rocco Morrison has been teaching at Valley Road School for 4
years and really enjoys teaching at Stanhope. She has a degree in Elementary
Education from Centenary College with a concentration in Mathematics. Prior to
graduating Mrs. Rocco Morrison completed her Student Teaching at Valley Road.
After graduating she went on to be a substitute teacher and was offered a
maternity leave position at Stanhope School. After completing the maternity
leave, Mrs. Rocco Morrison came on as a fulltime teacher, teaching 4th and 5th
grade Math before becoming a 5th Grade Teacher. She really enjoys
working with her 5th Grade students and creating a fun, safe and educational
learning experience.
When she is not in school she enjoys reading, being outside and traveling. She recently just got married and is enjoying married life and all it has to offer. From a young age she always knew she wanted to be
a teacher. She loved to play school with the kids who lived around her. When she was offered the position at Stanhope it was a dream come true and she enjoys every minute of it. She always is telling her students that "if you put your mind to it, work hard and never give up, your dreams will come true."
